Decorating for the Holidays!
I was doing a sketch in between making batches of honey roasted almonds for gifts this year, but then it was time to get the Truckee house dressed up for our holiday party for our family and grandchildren! So, here are some pictures of some of the house. It might be our last Christmas there....the house is for sale.

It's beautiful. Interesting choice of words - last Christmas there. I suspect your heart is here.
Actually, we've been saying that for a couple of years. Hard times, no one buying...
We love the place but our family is all in Reno now. Too far to commute! We need to downsize for retirement purposes...
What a miracle! This I have seen only in movies! :) Fireplace and charming socks, in which Santa Claus puts presents! I guess, that you are sewed them yourself! Is not it???
It's great, Carolyn - this week probably was very hard for you but the result - unsurpassed!
Oh! Poinsettia Flowers! :))) Cool!!!
Wish you have an unforgettable holiday in this beautiful house with your big family!
Thank you Ti-Igra! But no, I did not sew the socks. There are many needlepoint sock patterns out there, but I have never had the time to do them myself!
