Iguana - watercolor and colored pencil

I had planned on renting a bicycle this morning and going for a ride while my husband was golfing, but vacation laziness set in.  So, I worked on this Iguana drawing instead. 

Here are some pictures of the lighthouse at Harbour Town, and the spanish moss growing on the trees here.

Lovely Carolyn! I like when you combine techniques. That lighthouse inspires me. You can rent a bike some other day...

Oh! This picture looks as it comes from the book! In my childhood I loved to watched Biology books!!! They was old but there were soooo beautiful, realistic illustrations!!! :) How I love this picture!!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Your art reminds me illustrations of German artist http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_Harder who drew dinosaurs ;)
