The texture of pine trees

I'm baaack!  Took a little interlude for a family get-together. 

Here is my watercolor in progress.  This painting is going to be all about texture and pattern. 

We celebrated Mom's 85th birthday!  We got to visit with out-of-state relatives and it was a fun 3 days!
