Drawing for the next painting

I had a little time today, so I began my drawing for the next painting.  Since the drawing is so light, and I have an incomplete area on the left middle edge, I am also showing my photographic reference.  I took this picture last fall in Hope Valley, California, during the Lorenzo Chavez workshop.

Hello, Carolyn!
Oh! you give for us another opportunity to watch warm and sunny on your pictures!
Winter "for the soap"! We say so, when want to get rid of someone :-)
I hope I translated correctly and you understand me.
Good luck! :-)

I know I say I never comment, but I'm so anxious to see how this turns out. Hope Valley is a very special place to me and I think your photo frame ready. You have such a good eye.

Hi Ti-Igra and Sharon, thanks for your comments. It is so easy when you are sick to say "I think I'll go take a nap", but with my friends cheering me on, I have renewed energy and am going to start painting this today! (then take a nap).

Carolyn you are very strong!

You know, at once I had a fever, I paint and then fever disappeared! :-)
Wish you paint and feel good - better!

Very interesting work, Carolyn!!! I am doing a work shop in w/c this Saturday with Reicko Hervin, who has been my instructor for years. She is doing a one day at the gallery in Minden. Thalia has her pastel there, and is also giving classes there! Just wanted you to know. This looks like its really going to turn out!! Check back in a few!

Hi Ida, I've heard of Reicko, but I've never taken a class from her, but I'd like to. Say Hi to Thalia for me...
