My New Summer Studio
I got one of those pop-up canopies for our back patio this year. It is 10x10 and so much easier to have space for an easle and move around than a market umbrella, and tripping over the base. With a homeowners' association and rules, I think I can get away with this because it is basically a square umbrella and not attached to anything. So today I'm trying it out. I worked on my Boulders pastel yesterday afternoon, but I was unhappy with it. Maybe it was the light green paper. So I will try again with this salmon colored paper.

What a grand place to work this summer! The colors of the tulips below are awesome. Next dye day I'm coming to look at your blog for inspiration.
