Here is a picture of the underpainting, and then the pastel over it. It might need some value or color adjustment, maybe some finishing touches, but I'm done for today! Last night the phone rang all night (my husband's turn for night-call) and I began to fade while doing this painting.
This painting was a different challenge for me - with no photographic reference, no on-location viewing - just mostly from my head. This leaves me with many decisions to make.
