Garden Lampost - pastel

I finished this today.

I've been doing "art business" - like, getting applications for a business license, fixing up the new e-mail that I didn't set up right the first time, ordering materials...this kind of work is essential, but sure cuts into the painting time!

Wow! Carolyn! This is an excellent work, filled with pleasant sensations. I so love it!!! Your pastel so realistic, like arised in the consciousness. Red flowers are decorate this garden; flowers and shrubs, path and lantern - everything is beautiful and true! I feel that I here walk by road! :-)

"art business"?! Really? Thats Cool!!! :-))) Hurrey!!!

Oh C, this is soooo beautiful and romantic....and fresh!
I look at it and I think it´s a perfect place to kiss someone, to write a love letter, read a novel or just smell those lovely flowers and relax.......

Carolyn, this painting rocks. The red flowers are just the right touch, it must of been hard to organize this scene! You have done really well. I may join Thalia's group one day this weekend, I can't decide. But YES! take bug-spray! And have a ball! Oh, wanted to say, I saw red poppies along the road-sides in Amador county this spring---so bright and pretty, and different. I hadn't seen red ones before.
